Lauren Kirkey comes to us from Vancouver where she is currently pursuing a Master of Divinity degree at Vancouver School of Theology. She is a candidate for Ministry within The United Church and is excited by what the future may hold for both her calling and the direction of the Church as a whole in the years to come. She loves preaching, pastoral care and is committed to reconciliation & inclusion of all peoples into the family of God. When not studying Lauren works as a medical secretary at Vancouver General Hospital in the area of Kidney, Liver and Lung transplant. In her downtime, Lauren volunteers on the VST student council, enjoys podcasts, theatre, travel, horseback riding and quality time with her partner of 12 years.
