Matthew Heesing: From time in Colombia as a United Church Overseas Mission Personnel, to a Masters of Arts in Theology and Religious Studies from St. Mary’s University in Halifax, NS, Matthew Heesing’s passion for the church has taken him all sorts of surprising places. Currently, he is serving as the Student Minister of Diamond Valley Pastoral Charge, in Turner Valley, AB, while he completes the Summer Distance MDiv Program through AST. Matthew’s eclectic interests also include roller-derby, violin, comic-books and poetic-style preaching.
