Originally from Jamaica, the Rev. Hewitt Holmes is a liberal thinker, with a love for learning, who believes God welcomes all persons into a dynamic relationship with God and creation. Currently the minister at First-Wesley United Church in Thunder Bay, Ontario, Hewitt lives each day knowing that Jesus was God’s living presence on earth who welcomed, affirmed, cherished and respected all of God’s creation.
